Heather of Pretty Petals boutique!

This giveaway was sooo much fun! I have pictures of my new items but I am having trouble getting them uploaded on wordpress, I just started listing a few pieces at a time on my site. I have been so busy with wholesale orders that I haven’t had the time to list or photograph all of it, but please do check out the new line so far.
I am starting a new blog with Blogspot, so much easier to post and work with. My URl is going to be different and as soon as I have it up and running I’ll post on this blog the URL. When I get it up and running, I’ll do another giveaway to launch it.

Busy, Busy, Busy

Monday, October 6th, 2008

Yes, it is that time of year again where I am on the constant go between house work, kids school and activities, and work. Every year I say I am going to make holiday items during the summer and have my Christmas cards done before August. Christmas cards did not happen but a few holiday items did. I got a jump on making holiday items so for once I feel less stressed about scrambling around. Some of my holiday items are already on my site with much more on the way. I just listed some poinsettias, besides red I made them in pink which I need to get back over to my site and finish listing.

I have soooo many projects I need to finish but laundry keeps calling. I hung up but it found the redail. Kids and I just named the mountain it formed, it also erupted. I have so many more to finish and list! Where is that magic laundry wand?

Join the gang at Make Mine Pink for a shop hop this week! Lots of prizes to be won as well as raising money to find a cure for breast cancer. Click on the link and register and have fun hopping through the shops at Make Mine Pink. you-found-it-2008101.gif
I also have a Pink October page, 20 percent of the sales will go to the Komen Foundation in honor of my friend Deena whom is battling the disease. You can read about her story and follow her progress here.

On top of laundry, I have some wholesale orders to fill. One store that sells clothes wants the silk painted in a tealish tourqoise blueish with some ivory cream. Love a challange. Also need to paint silk in a real vintage aged tea stain color, this is goint to be fun. So inbetween shuffling laundry around I will be cutting fabric and painting.

Sachet’s

Friday, September 5th, 2008

I love sachet’s but wanted to do a twist on them since most end up in a drawer tucked away. I found various parfait glasses and milk glass and I have a truck load of fabric. I had Patricia Rose blend together some signature scents for me.

The ornaments can be personalized and come with extra vintage style tags.

Saturday, March 8th, 2008

pict0265_renamed_16417.jpgI started making these along time ago, it’s been a few years since I made up a batch. I just love them. They are handpainted out of 100% silk fabric and then texturized and sewn into a rose.

I just started listing them on my site Meadow Street and should have more listed this weekend.
